We run this · Production Simulation Week
A crewed unit, prepped, shot and wrapped over a working week.
A call sheet, a risk assessment, a chain of command, kit and a turnaround. You hold a position in your department every day and you are accountable for it.
Who it is for
For people who have a craft skill set and have never used it on a unit.
People who have done a department course
Camera, lighting, sound or production. The week where the skill set meets a unit doing its own jobs around it.
Trainees with a few paid days
You have been on units, always at the edge of them. Here you hold a position for a full day.
People coming back after time out
Carers, people returning from illness, people who left and want back in. A supervised week rebuilds the reflexes.
What it covers
Prep, shoot days, wrap, run as a production runs.
Who it is not for
Do not book this as your first contact with a film set.

What you leave with
A week of unit work with your name on the paperwork.
Your reports, call sheets and risk assessment, and a written assessment against what a head of department books on: safe, prepared, quick and easy to work with. Plus a Crew Card entry and a certificate, each naming only what you were seen to do.
