Who runs it.
The board
A board is being formed.
Futures in Film CIC is director-led and is formalising its board and wider advisory structure. The developing board brings together cinematography, camera department standards, digital imaging, film technology, inclusion, community access and production practice. The board carries legal oversight, CIC duties, strategy, risk, finance and community benefit; the advisory structure alongside it brings industry, technical, education, inclusion and production insight to the work without blurring legal responsibility.
Gavin Finney BSC, former President of the British Society of Cinematographers, and Laurie Rose BSC, its current Vice President, support and back the vision, mission and delivery model.
Jeremy Braben Associate BSC, GBCT
Cinematography and aerial and specialist camera.

The ecosystem
Who else the same people run.
MR Helix Ltd, Pixeleyed Pictures Ltd and Screen Sisters CIC, each with its own board and accounts, and a conflicts policy for directors involved in more than one.
Governance
How the company is governed.
Company number 14621615, incorporated January 2023, regulated by Companies House and the CIC Regulator. The asset lock is in the articles: assets and surplus cannot be distributed to members or directors. Every programme is 18 and over, because there is no designated safeguarding lead in post; it changes when one is appointed and trained.
