What we collect when you apply
Your name, how to contact you, your date of birth, what you told us in your application, and anything you told us about support you need. Your date of birth is how we confirm you are 18 or over.
Why
To decide about your application, to run the programme, and to keep you safe. Nothing else.
Who sees it
The people running the programme. If we are worried you or someone else is not safe, we may have to tell someone who can help — we will tell you if we do that, unless telling you would make things less safe.
Who we do not give it to
We do not sell it. We do not give it to advertisers. We do not give it to anyone else without asking you first.
How long we keep it
Three years after your last contact with us, then we delete it.
Your rights, in plain words
You can ask to see what we hold. You can ask us to correct it. You can ask us to delete it — and we will, unless there is a legal reason we have to keep it, in which case we will explain what that reason is. You can complain to us, and if you are not happy you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, who are independent of us.

If information about someone under 18 reaches us, in an application, an enquiry or a message, we do not use it to enrol them: we tell whoever sent it, keep only what we are required to keep, and delete the rest.
