Futures in Film works from the Ken Adam Building at Pinewood Studios. Three other things on the same lot matter to anyone trying to get into the industry or test equipment in it, and only one of them belongs to Futures in Film.

The four, and who runs each.
The Ken Adam Building
Futures in Film's own space: the test room, the workspace and the equipment. This is the one that is ours.
The Indie Film Hub
Pinewood's facility for lower-budget films. Two stages, production offices and workshops, hired directly from Pinewood.
The CoSTAR National Lab
A national research facility led by Royal Holloway, University of London, due to open on the lot in late 2026.
Pinewood Futures Festival
Pinewood's free careers event. Futures in Film delivers a production simulation at it each year.
Why it matters
Proximity is not the same as partnership.
Being on a studio lot puts an organisation within walking distance of manufacturers, rental houses, productions and a national research facility. It does not, on its own, give anyone access to them.
What access there is comes from the work: equipment tested on a real unit, crew trained on it, and a record of both. The pages above name who to ask for the parts Futures in Film does not run.
