We run this · Story to Screen Intensive
Part time, from an idea to a draft on the page.
Structure, character, the page, what it would cost to shoot, and the pitch. You arrive with an idea and you work on it every week, with notes from a producer, a development executive and a director at the end. Development has no certifying body.
Who it is for
For writers with an idea and no process, and for crew who want to originate.
Writers who start things and do not finish them
The commonest problem in development, and a structural one, not a talent one.
Crew who want to originate their own work
You know what a shootable page looks like better than most writers do, and you have never been taught the form.
People with lived experience of a story nobody is telling
The course is the craft that turns it into a script.
What it covers
Idea, structure, character, page, budget, pitch.
Who it is not for
This will not get your script made.

What you leave with
A short screenplay or a treatment, a one-page pitch, and written notes from the panel.
A short screenplay, or a treatment for a longer piece, workshopped on the way. Logline, synopsis, tone, comparables and why you. Plus a certificate naming only what you were seen to do.
