Our work
What we do, and what it pays for.
One spine and four supports. Kit tested between the manufacturer and the unit is what pays; the rest is what it pays for.
The pillars
The pillars.

01
Technical Innovation, STEAM and Applied R&D
The spine. Kit tested on a shooting day, for manufacturers, rental houses and research institutions.

02
Production Simulation and Industry Workflow Practice
The method that makes the test credible, and the thing institutions buy.

03
Social Impact Filmmaking, Journalism and Public Discourse
What the unit produces. Independent film on social issues, and a first credit.

04
Industry, Academia and Supply-Chain Alignment
Who it is delivered with. Modules, courses and bootcamps for universities and colleges.

05
Inclusive Representation, Cultural Safety and Community Access
Who it is for. A route in for people the sector has not reached, and home of the Faith Inclusion Production Standard.

Initiatives and standards
With their own front door.

Where we turn up
Pinewood Futures Festival
A working unit on a stage, at Pinewood’s own careers festival.

Standard
Faith Inclusion Production Standard
Published and free to read. The Toolkit behind it is in development.
The asset lock
The margin cannot be taken out.
An asset-locked community interest company: what the commercial work earns cannot be distributed. A test day, a hire or a commission is also a training place.
Where
Where we work.
Based at Pinewood. Units have run in London, Yorkshire, the North West, Surrey, North Wales and Scotland. The package and the practitioners travel.
