Futures in Film
Start where you are.
Five routes through the same organisation. Pick the one that describes you and the site will stop explaining things you did not ask about.
I want to work in the industry
Courses by department, funded places, what each grade actually does, and how people who have done it got there. Start here whether you are seventeen or changing career at forty.
I make or hire out equipment
Test days on a working unit. Structured feedback from heads of department and from people meeting the product cold. Prep space, crew and a shooting day on the lot.
I am putting a production together
Crew, kit and space against a brief. Trainees who have handled the equipment before they arrive. A faith-literate production standard if your unit needs one.
I am writing a bid or a tender
Named delivery partner on social value. A real programme, delivered, with evidence you can attach. Written for procurement teams, not for funders.
I teach, or I run a community group
Careers sessions, free resources and cohort work. What the industry actually looks like, delivered by people who are in it.
If none of those fit
Two more doors.
You are a studio or a facility
Community access, a local pipeline and social value delivery are things a lot needs and rarely has the staff to run. We already operate on one.
You want to support the work
Not a donate button. Equipment, space, time, a place on a unit, or a named partnership. The useful things are rarely cash.
