The NZ Mountain Film Festival Charitable Trust is running it's annual Adventure Film Editing Competition. There is a US$500 first prize.
You get about 30 minutes of footage shot of young Wanaka athletes skateboarding, kayaking, biking and rock climbing to edit into a 3 minute film for pre-judging. The top 10 will be played at the Festival in Wanaka July 5-9 and the winner picked.
Entrants can do it all online, including downloading the footage. Entries are now open at http://mountainfilm.net.nz/competitions/film-editing/ and editing starts June 1st.
